How do you close out one of the most amazing months Philadelphia has ever known? You build a giant and fill
it with 8,000 lbs of candy. Of course, you should then destroy it in front of everyone to expose the kitty, but that would have been too much to ask wouldnt it Carnival? After waiting at the corner of Broad and Washington for over two hours, Mancini and I finally left out of sheer boredom and disappointment. We later learn that the pinata was never thwacked with the wrecking ball due to safety concerns. Yup, safety concerns! How did this entire idea get all this way without one person aksing themselves, "You know, we should think about any not
maiming/killing anyone with this so Bob, can you check on the safety thing?" Unbelievable.
Carnival Cruiselines, you may know some things about big ships, but you know jack shit about pinatas. Please feel free to contact me so I may put you in touch with a friend who is a mastermind at pinata construction and demolition. Call me!
