Sweet Sneaks

Behold. My new running sneaks, the Nike Frees 7.0! My other sneakers were lightweight trail shoes so it's nice to have a running specific shoe, especially with the triathlon coming up. They are so light and comfy.

I had to go to three stores for these shoes because the colors for women were crazy ridiculous - bring pink, purple, turquoise, etc. I had to ask one salesperson where the colors were for grown up women. He sighed and understood my plight. How hard is it to take men's shoes and then reproduce them in women's sizes? I settled on these guys although it's a bit more white than I prefer, but I do love the orange.

Yes, I am expecting these bad boys to slice minutes off my time, but I know that is fantasy talk. I must keep running.
